Keep Awake!
(Love)

35Therefore, keep awake — for you do not know when the master of the house will come, in the evening, or at midnight, or at cockcrow, or at dawn, 36or else he may find you asleep when he comes suddenly. 37And what I say to you I say to all: Keep awake."

Every moment of your life you are offered
the opportunity to choose love or fear,
to tread the earth or to soar to the heavens.

What we call the beginning is often the end
And to make an end is to make a beginning.

Annual Thanksgiving Day
Wild Turkey Trot
2008

It began in the pre-dawn hours as we drove to Marge Petersen's
home.  We stood silently in the pitch dark and watched and listened as
the light crept in and the sounds of nature slowly began to be heard.

Then we saw the first wild turkey leave its roost high in a Ponderosa
and fly to the ground.  Soon, others joined him and, in the early light,
the turkeys began to trot back and forth finding their breakfast.

Marge invited us inside for a welcome cup of coffee!  In the comfort of her home,
we could still easily view the turkeys ... more than 25 of them (out the window
on the upper right)!  Thank you, Marge!!!

Back at home, later in the day ... before  our feast!

Yum!!!  (You'll have to take our word for it ... I didn't take pictures.)
I hope you all had wonderful company!

Saturday night was a Leftover Party at Terrey's.
Here, she poses in front of the fused glass and tile creation she
is making in her kitchen.  This picture does not do it justice.  The red
glass pieces in the foreground are actually the same glass that are
in the cupboards in the back and are very subdued.

Here is the red glass again behind Denise and her husband.

As we express our gratitude,
we must never forget that the highest appreciation
is not to utter words, but to live by them.
