A real decision is measured by the fact
that you've taken new action.
If there's no action, you haven't truly decided.

One reason so few of us achieve what we truly want
is that we never direct our focus;
we never concentrate our power.
Most people dabble their way through life,
never deciding to master anything in particular.

Vicki and I drove to Canon City on Tuesday and, on our way, made
a brief stop at the Air Force Academy.

What a glorious day!!!
Especially after the harrowing weather we had on Monday.

The Arkansas River.  It's a lot calmer now than
when some of us shot the rapids on it in April, 1999!

Bettie is one of my Alzheimer artists in our
Wednesday Memories in the Making class.

On Thursday, Carmon invited several of us to his home for lunch.
It is truly a working artist's home.
We walked through the huge atrium to his studio.

Amazing!!!

He uses a lot of textiles and cloth, although he painted
the canvases on the wall.  He also paints floor coverings ...
and does many other things!!!

Carmon made the coverings for the chairs and did his own upholstering.
The tablecloth is actually a quilt that he made.

Breuer Kitchen Chairs
MOMA Collection

We used four chairs like these (that Carmon did)
for our luncheon since he needed extra chairs for his guests.
The four chairs above are part of a MoMA Collection.

The man who insists upon seeing with perfect clearness
before he decides never decides.

43The next day Jesus decided to go to Galilee. He found Philip and said to him, "Follow me." 44Now Philip was from Bethsaida, the city of Andrew and Peter. 45Philip found Nathanael and said to him, "We have found him about whom Moses in the law and also the prophets wrote, Jesus son of Joseph from Nazareth."
