Faith is not
being sure where you're going but going anyway.
A journey without

This has certainly been
"Elk Week!"
I am kitty-sitting again,
and Poppet enjoyed the company.
The view out my
window
I am also feeding my
neighbors' cat while they are gone.
Still nursing ...
... and still
bugling! Every night for
the past week right out my window!!!
Laura was almost caught by an elk earlier this
week. She and a friend were getting in a car after
walking their dogs and the car was between a big bull and part of his
herd. The bull charged, Laura jumped in the car, the
driver gunned the engine and took off, but the bull caught the back end of
the car (a Morris) and caused a thousand dollars worth of
damage. They didn't wait around to see if the bull had
damaged his antlers.

No matter how sophisticated you may be,
a huge granite mountain cannot be denied ...
it
speaks in silence to the very core of your being.

5The apostles said to the
Lord, "Increase our faith!" 6The Lord replied, "If you
had faith the size of a mustard seed, you could say to this mulberry tree, 'Be
uprooted and planted in the sea,' and it would obey
you.
