Holiday Party
This year we
had a Hawaiian theme ... with temperatures below freezing!
Eric insisted
that I have my picture taken.
I changed it
to a "watercolor" on my computer.
Up close, it
really looks like a watercolor, but now
it just looks
blurry.
(Why is that,
Jack and John?)
Santa and Mrs.
Claus arrived to listen to what the kiddies wanted.

time at Lori's on
Saturday!

Late
on a sleepy, star-spangled night,
those
angels peeled back the sky
just
like you would tear open a sparkling Christmas present.
Then,
with light and joy pouring out of Heaven
like
water through a broken dam,
they
began to shout and sing the message
that
baby Jesus had been born.
The
world had a Savior!
The
angels called it "Good News, "
and it was.
