To the
Cross
8A very large crowd spread their cloaks on the road, and
others cut branches from the trees and spread them on the road.
9The crowds that went ahead of him and that followed
were shouting, "Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is the one who
comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest heaven!"

Faith
is the conviction that
God
knows more than we do about this life
and He
will get us through it.
~ Max Lucado
God
would prefer we have
an
occasional limp than a perpetual strut.
And if it takes a
thorn for him to make his point,
he loves us enough not to pluck it
out.

One of my 'artists' at the
Senior Resource Center.
John is trying on a pink
hat and dancing with Judy, one of the caregivers.
Jim, too, had to try
it on.
There was
a lot of laughter that afternoon!!!
We didn't get much painting
done for Memories in the Making.
Thursday was Vicki's
birthday and we celebrated by having tea at the Brown
Palace.
(It was also Nephew John's
birthday. We would have loved to have included you,
John!)
Tea for
Two!
Vicki was even given a
small corsage while the pianist played "Happy Birthday."
This is the day
that the Lord hath made;
We will rejoice and be glad in it!
Save now
(Hosanna!)
we beseech thee, O Lord,
O Lord, we beseech thee,
save
now!

1When they had come near Jerusalem and had reached
Bethphage, at the Mount of Olives, Jesus sent two disciples,
2saying to them, "Go into the village ahead of you,
and immediately you will find a donkey tied, and a colt with her; untie them and
bring them to me.

The
Passion
5Let the same mind be in you that was in Christ Jesus,
6who, though he was in the form of God, did not regard
equality with God as something to be exploited, 7but
emptied himself, taking the form of a slave, being born in human likeness. And
being found in human form, 8he humbled himself and
became obedient to the point of death—even death on a cross.
9Therefore God also highly exalted him and gave him
the name that is above every name, 10so that at the
name of Jesus every knee should bend, in heaven and on earth and under the
earth, 11and every tongue should confess that Jesus
Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
