Working Together

8Then he took curds and milk and the calf that he had prepared, and set it before them;
and he stood by them under the tree while they ate.

When you work you are a flute through whose heart
the whispering of the hours turns to music.
Which of you would be a reed, dumb and silent,
when all else sings together in unison?

Five of us (from Painted Toes) went to an alpaca farm
to paint on Friday ... but we had too much fun playing and didn't paint!

All twenty-five alpacas had been shorn last weekend
except for their topnots, leggings, and tails.

These are the "working boys."

Here are some of the females drinking water that Hugh is putting in the fountain.
Most are expecting babies. The little baby on the lower left is only three days old!

There she is!

Tina Nocturna even took a peppermint treat from my mouth.
(We almost dropped it.)

We celebrated Carolyn M.'s birthday.

OPTIMISM
The difference between stumbling blocks
and stepping stones is how you use them.

5These twelve Jesus sent out with the following instructions: "Go nowhere among the Gentiles, and enter no town of the Samaritans, 6but go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. 7As you go, proclaim the good news, 'The kingdom of heaven has come near.'
