Wisdom
5 ... the LORD appeared to Solomon in a dream by night;
and God said, "Ask what I should give you." 6And
Solomon said,... 9 "Give Thy servant an understanding heart to judge Thy
people and to know good and evil; ..."
1 Kings 2:10-12; 3:3-14

There is a difference between happiness and wisdom:
he that thinks
himself the happiest man is really so;
but he that
thinks himself the wisest is generally the greatest
fool.

Our Conservation Group from the
Denver Art Museum had a delightful outing to the Buffalo Bill Museum on Lookout
Mountain. The Director, Steve, had invited Carl to bring our group to
view “Found in a Belgian Basement: Lakota Artifacts from the
1935 World’s Fair” which will remain at the Buffalo Bill Museum and Grave
through January 24, 2010. It features a selection of 40 artifacts from the
“ghost collection,” ranging from elaborately beaded vests to moccasins and
headdresses. Most of the items were made especially for the Brussels
World's Fair by Lakota families who used them for performances and then sold the
entire collection before returning home.
They are in near perfect
condition!
