To speak
gratitude is courteous and pleasant,
to enact
gratitude is generous and noble,
but to live
gratitude is to touch Heaven. *

... I say
grace before the concert and the opera,
and grace before the
play and pantomime,
and grace before I
open a book,
and grace before
sketching, painting, swimming,
fencing, boxing,
walking, playing, dancing
and grace before I
dip the pen in the ink.

her sister, Bev, at Wednesday Breakfast.
They are holding Trish's
latest paintings!
Dick Over spoke at
Rotary about his experiences with the 10th Mountain Division
during WWII after their
training at Camp Hale here in Colorado.
He poses here with his 7
1/2 foot skis and leather boots.
Some of us remember
ski pole baskets and boot bindings like these!
This pretty red fox ambled
down the barely frozen creek at the lake this
morning.
He hesitated when he saw
us, but then went on.
I liked this because of his
reflection.
Sondra, Dorie, and Dee at
our Dine Around Dinner this evening.
Jack and Ross provided the
entertainment!
Happy Thanksgiving, one and
all!!!

is the need to be
appreciated.

Christ the King Sunday ... last Sunday of Year B
* A repeat
Then Pilate
entered the headquarters again, summoned Jesus, and asked him, “Are you the King
of the Jews?” Jesus answered, “Do you ask this on your own, or did others tell
you about me?” Pilate replied, “I am not a Jew, am I? Your own nation and the
chief priests have handed you over to me. What have you done?” Jesus answered,
“My kingdom is not from this world. If my kingdom were from this world, my
followers would be fighting to keep me from being handed over to the Jews. But
as it is, my kingdom is not from here.” Pilate asked him, “So you are a king?”
Jesus answered, “You say that I am a king. For this I was born, and for this I
came into the world, to testify to the truth. Everyone who belongs to the truth
listens to my voice.”
