Halleluiah!
Hallelujah!!
Alleluia!!!
The Risen Christ

Serenity. Acceptance. Calm. A
delicate naturalism. And a certain
sadness. These were the
qualities that Borgognone presented in his
painting of the Risen Christ.
The God/Man he shows is no
longer troubled by the cares of his
turbulent life. He has passed
beyond this, into his glory.

Not only is another world
possible,
she is on her way.
On a quiet day,
I can hear her breathing.
~ Arundhati Rov
For me the meaning of the
Resurrection
is the possibility of
possibility.
The great perhaps.
Perhaps: the
open-endedness that gives the lie to death.
That opens up the story.

This must be Volunteer

(How time flies!!!)
Tuesday evening was Bunco
(and yummies) at Dorinne Reid’s home.
Thursday was a Recognition
Luncheon at the Lakewood Cultural Center
sponsored by the Volunteer
Connection.
Pam McQuin, Lori Joslin, and
Mel Nuchols,
all employees of the Senior
Resource Center Evergreen
Mel and Carolyn at the

Happy Easter!!!
AND THE GLORY
The silence breaks into morning.
That One Star lights the world.
The lily springs to life and
not even Solomon …
Let it begin with singing
and never end!
Oh, angels, quit your lamenting!
Oh, pilgrims,
upon your knees in tearful prayer,
rise up
and take your hearts
and run!
We who were no people
are named anew
God’s people,
for he who was no more
is forevermore.
